Kimberley has assisted countless families as they've gone through the diagnostic and treatment phases of ADHD. Kimberley's  expertise coaching parents through the ADHD diagnosis phase has proven invaluable to many families.  She routinely recommends they use  genetic testing to  identify the best medication match and helps oversee the trial phase if parents elect to use medication as a treatment option.  Students with ADHD always need support with developing executive functioning and Kimberley has extensive experience helping her ADHD students with this.

Because Kimberley is both a Child Psychotherapist, Learning Specialist and an Educational Therapist, she also often identifies other issues that are silently affecting your child’s learning. She routinely sees the behavioral signs of common learning problems such as dyslexia, ADHD and eye-tracking problems. She guides parents towards the most cost-effective and prompt evaluation for them. 

MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST:  

As a mental health specialist, Kimberley keeps her eye trained on  psychological symptoms such as anxiety and depression that always stem from a nontraditional student trying to cope with the disconnect of being in a traditional classroom. If those mental health signs are evident, she will help you understand the best ways to mitigate the effects of hidden school trauma on your child.
