Identify All the Issues - ADHD Consultant and Coach

ADHD CONSULTANT and EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING SUPPORT:

Kimberley has assisted countless families as they've gone through the diagnostic and treatment phases of ADHD. It is always overwhelming to parents as they consider the right course of treatment once they have learned their child has ADHD. Kimberley's extensive extensive coaching parents through the ADHD discovery process has proven invaluable to many families. She routinely recommends they use genetic testing to identify the best medication match and helps oversee the trial phase if parents have elected to use medication as a treatment option. Students with ADHD always need support with developing executive functioning and Kimberley has extensive experience helping her ADHD students with this.

CATCHING UNDIAGNOSED LEARNING DISABILiTIES:

Because Kimberley is both a Child Psychotherapist, Learning Specialist and an Educational Therapist, she also often identifies other issues that are silently affecting your child’s learning. She routinely sees the behavioral signs of common processing issues such as dyslexia, ADHD and eye-tracking problems, and guides parents towards the most cost-effective and prompt evaluation for them.

MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST:

As a mental health specialist, Kimberley keeps her eye trained on psychological symptoms such as anxiety and depression that always stem from a nontraditional student trying to cope with being in a traditional classroom. If those mental health signs are evident, she will help you understand the best ways to mitigate the effects of hidden school trauma on your child.

In all of this, Kimberley does her utmost to bring real relief and compassionate care to struggling learners and their families. Flexible Scheduling Available

Scenario 1: Within a 40-mile radius

Families who live within a 40-mile radius can do both the initial meeting and weekly individual sessions in person which includes:

the first 90-minute Family LearningZone Training with follow-up LearningZone Parent Guide to share with school
two 60-minute educational therapy sessions that will implement your child’s LearningZone
ongoing 60-minute education therapy sessions as needed to solidify breakthroughs and accelerate your child's progress

Scenario 2: 4-hour training

Families from further away can elect to schedule a 4-hour Training which includes:

a comprehensive 90-minute Family LearningZone Training with LearningZone Parent Guide on Day 1
two 60-minute educational therapy sessions that will implement your child’s LearningZone with Kimberley and show parents the methods and kinetic tools that will support them at school and at home. This can all be on Day 1, or the following day if families elected to get overnight lodging to attend two days in a row.

Scenario 3: Zoom Meeting

Long distance families meet over Zoom with Kimberley with includes:

a comprehensive 120-minute Family LearningZone Training
Review videos that shows you how to implement your child’s Kinetic LearningZone at home, receive the LearningZone Parent Guide to share with your child’s school team
Two 1-hour consultations after the Family LearningZone Training, to be scheduled. The follow up sessions will happen over Zoom and will help parents understand how to maintain and strengthen their child's progress using the LearningDNA Method.
