The first step in working with Kimberley is completing the brief LearningDNA Quiz prior to your meeting with her; this relays the essential information of your child’s LearningDNA and sets the groundwork for tapping into their LearningZone at school and home.
Establish a Student's LearningZone
The LearningDNA Quiz identifies the 3 strongest learning Pathways - this establishes a students' all powerful LearningZone. Tragically for struggling students, the combined natural strengths in their LearningZone go untapped with traditional teaching methods.
Family Comparison
In the first LearningZone meeting, you will learn about your entire family’s LearningDNA and which precise methods will create breakthroughs for your child at school and home. Whether or not your child has been tested and disabilities found, without understanding your child’s LearningZone, they will not progress enough or begin moving forward. While diagnosing learning problems is essential, what changes learning outcomes in struggling students are the powerful tools that align a learner with their LearningZone.
Weekly Sessions (as needed)
Kimberley does extensive work with reading disorders, pragmatic and expressive language disorders, dyscalculia and generalized math difficulties.
Since most of the students in her practice also have ADHD, she focuses heavily on executive functioning and remediating dysgraphia. She works with students across the K-12 span.
LearningZone Guide
Often parents need a report to share with their child’s school to establish the need for extra services there and to convey how to support their child’s LearningZone in the classroom.
Teachers welcome this LearningZone Guide which helps them bring out your child’s natural strengths at school. It will include videos that show your child in their Kinetic LearningZone and demonstrate the kinetic possibilities at school and home.
