What removes the risk factor holding up students is unlocking the power of their LearningDNA. To do this,  we first reveal all 5 Pathways encoded within their LearningDNA but then zero in on the 3 strongest Pathways - this establishes a students' all powerful LearningZone.  Tragically for struggling students, the combined  natural strengths in their LearningZone go untapped  in traditional classrooms. 

The first step in working with Kimberley is completing the brief LearningDNA Quiz prior to your meeting with her; this relays the essential information of your child’s LearningDNA and sets the groundwork for tapping into their LearningZone at school and home.

In the first LearningZone meeting, you will learn about your entire family’s LearningDNA and which precise methods will create breakthroughs for your child at school and home. Whether or not your child has been tested and disabilities have been diagnosed, without understanding your child’s LearningZone, they will not progress enough or truly begin moving towards their real potential. While diagnosing learning problems is essential,  what changes learning outcomes in struggling students are the powerful tools that align a learner with strengths which finally get them moving.

The initial LearningZone Training is a 90-minute family session which sets the stage for learning breakthroughs. At the end, a weekly time is scheduled to continue one-on-one educational therapy for your child with Kimberley and discussing how parents can establish a Kinetic LearningZone at home.

Often parents need a report to share with their child’s school to establish the need for extra services there and to convey how to support their child’s LearningZone at school. Teacher’s welcome this LearningZone Guide which helps them bring out your child’s natural strengths at school. It will include videos that show your child in their Kinetic LearningZone and demonstrate the kinetic possibilities at school and home. 

Because Kimberley is both a child psychotherapist and an educational therapist, she often identifies other issues that are silently affecting your child’s learning. She routinely sees the behavioral signs of common learning problems such as dyslexia, ADHD and binocular eye-tracking, and will guide parents towards the most cost-effective and prompt evaluation for these issues if such signs exist. 

As a mental health specialist, Kimberley keeps her eye trained on the psychological symptoms like anxiety and depression that always stem from a nontraditional student trying to cope with the disconnect that falls on them with traditional learning.  If mental health symptoms are evident, Kimberley will help you understand the best ways to mitigate the effects of hidden school trauma on your child.

In all of this, Kimberley does her utmost to bring real relief and compassionate care to struggling learners and their families.
